Pints & Paddles: Adventures in Beer

Dogfish Head 90 minute Imperial India Pale Ale: Wikipedia: HighKing

Physical challenges and a tasty adventure await those who sign up for a Pints & Paddles tour, brought to you by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery (Milton, DE) and Quest Kayak (Lewes, DE.)

This relaxing out-and-back paddle along the scenic Broadkill River is suitable for novice or seasoned paddlers. Adventurers paddle out to the McCabe Nature Preserve (a Nature Conservancy property) where you may be able to see herons, ospreys, turtles, occasional eagles, and other wildlife.  This trip runs from May through October, so the flora of the area is always changing.

After the paddle, enjoy a visit to the Dogfish Head Brewery; tour the facility and sample a pint (for those of legal drinking age). You may be selected from the tour group to sample-test a new product under consideration by Dogfish Head Brewery, in their never ending quest to create distinctive beverages.  A keepsake DFH Pint Glass is included with this excursion.
